Black is cool. My clothes are black, my hair's black, my blogskin's black, my mouse' black--Most posession's black. Blackness- i shall refer to it as darkness. What's so scary about the darkness-

When night falls, so many people around becomes scared of the dark. For me, i was afraid of the dark. Yet seeing how the darkness has become part of my life, it's become somewhat like a meal. Sometimes, i dislike people who's scared of the dark- cuz i know that their fear for darkness would hinder actions one way or another. What is so frightening about darkness?

1. The lack of knowledge of what lurks inside. Darkness strips off the light that our eyes have grown so accustomed to. When we cannot depend on sight, our minds loses a pillar that we can depend on and convinces us that danger is up ahead. Fear implants itself at the back of our mind.

2. Ghosts? To me, what IS scary about ghosts, are that they cannot be explained in terms of scientific theory. Like, how the heck do these things become transparent and appear at will? How do they pass through walls? Are their particles able to assimilate and pass through walls? How do they even defy gravity like those shown in movies? Why are they so shady? Are their existence mere groundless hypothesis?

3. Due to parental influecenes? because Children are warned not to wander off into the darkness at night because harm will befall them?

I do not believe that anybody is 100% not afraid of the darkness. At times, i believe even the bravest of souls will break a sweat when something unnatural occurs.

Whatever, This concludes my simple posting to while away my time.
